C&M Manufacturing

Buildings C&M Manufacturing was founded by Mark Bennett in 1982. They started off fabricating light goods such as brackets and gates. By 1984 they expanded and bought a fabrication shop in Chesterfield, where they branched out by hiring skilled fabricators and coded welders. This allowed them to move into the bigger market. The company was then fabricating heavier goods such as structural fabrication and racking.

By 1991 we were bringing in more custom and again had to move premises to a bigger factory. This was due to the amount of work from one of our biggest customers who supply special alloy steels to the automotive and aviation industry.

By 2003 we moved to a bigger factory in Sheffield. Again due to the ever growing amount of work. This new factory allowed us to have 3.5 tonne lifting capacity and a floor space of approximately 12,000 sq/ft.

We still to the present day satisfy all our customer's needs. We have no formal accredited management systems but we do work to the principles of ISO 9001/2000. We can produce all documentation and certificates upon request.

All our welders and fabricators are coded welders to BSEN-287-1. We also have a team for site work.
